Aglamesis Bros
A true Cincinnati legend, Aglamesis Bros has been making premium French ice creams and handcrafted chocolates since 1908. It was founded by two Greek immigrant brothers who learned the trade right here in Cincinnati. Now in its fourth generation of family ownership, nothing about the recipes has changed.
The Oakley parlor is one of the last original ice cream parlors of its kind, with marble imported from Portugal, Tiffany lamps, tile floors, and an authentic player piano. Walking in genuinely feels like stepping back in time.
🍫 Standout item: The handcrafted chocolates! Made in small batches in copper kettles using sugar, honey, fresh cream, and the finest grade chocolate with no additives. The salted caramels, chocolate pretzels, and raspberry creams are the ones people order year after year.
🍨 Don't skip: The French ice cream! Flavors like black raspberry, butter pecan, mocha chocolate chip, and seasonal offerings rotate through regularly. Once you try it, regular ice cream just won't cut it anymore.
